Two jobs available. Successful candidates will work in one or more of the roles below. Positions can be part or full-time, depending on the successful candidate.
• Working with several classes of VCE VM and VPC students and their teachers. Responsibilities include organising for groups of students to learn classroom content in businesses, working with teachers to include industry engagements in the curriculum, facilitating students to take part in career education experiences, develop the students' ability to successfully transition into the workforce and/or study and co-designing learning experiences with students that link school to their future pathways. Warrnambool based with some travel to Hamilton and Portland for one of the roles
• Major Program Manager: working closely with schools, industry members and other stakeholders to organise major NPL programs including the South West Careers Expo
• Program Specialist: assisting our team to organise 50/50 Programs where classes of students learn curriculum content in businesses
• Industry/School Connector: working in one local secondary school, making careers a part of every students' education.
The ability to be able to connect with, and speak in front of, groups of students and teachers is important, however applicants do not need to be qualified teachers. We're after the right people with the right attitude and attributes and will provide all the support and training required.
You will need a:
• Current Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain one)
• Police Check (or willingness to obtain one)
• Victorian Driver's Licence
