The program
Social Cohesion Student Placement assists with administration and research tasks by providing support to the Senior Officer - Participation & Inclusion to undertake research activities related to Migration Support Programs.
The opportunity
The program provides an opportunity to students who is passionate about women empowerment, capacity building and self-learning. You will get an opportunity to learn about different cultures, meet new people and experience their culture. The role will:
Assist in the design and development research projects including focus groups.
Support the Social Cohesion Project Officer during planning, trainings, events and presentations
The impact
These programs have engaged women in community initiatives such as a very successful fashion show in Darwin, food exhibitions in Darwin, Alice Springs and Katherine and other activities identified and led by the group is a testament to Red Cross' commitment to support and empower communities.
Application requirements
For this role you will be required to undertake a National Police Check, which will be organised through Red Cross.
To submit this an application you will be need to upload a recent copy of your CV and/or provide details for two professional references.
The role will also require you to hold or apply for a Working With Children Check or Working With Vulnerable People Check depending on your State/Territory. Red Cross can assist you to apply for this check
