About the role:
We're seeking a creative to join our Community Engagement Team as Marketing Content Creator – someone who thrives on capturing real moments, connecting with students, and sharing the authentic spirit of College life through dynamic, engaging content.
This hands‑on role suits someone who loves being in the heart of College life – in classrooms, on the sidelines, at performances, or behind the camera – creating content that celebrates our community and inspires pride in the St Andrew's story.
Reporting to the Marketing and Communications Coordinator, you'll bring the St Andrew's story to life across social media, photography, video, digital assets, and publications. Due to the nature of College events, some flexibility in working hours will be required, including occasional work outside ordinary hours to capture key activities and events.
Key responsibilities:
* Plan, create, and publish authentic content across College platforms that builds engagement and reflects the College's brand and values.
* Capture photos, videos, and short‑form stories that showcase everyday College life and major events.
* Collaborate with students to co‑create fun, authentic content that reflects their voice.
* Develop short videos, reels, and visual campaigns celebrating learning, sport, music, service, and the arts.
* Identify new content opportunities, track engagement data, and help shape the marketing strategy.
* Maintain consistency in brand tone and storytelling across all channels.
About you:
* Proven experience in content creation, social media, or digital marketing.
* Strong photography and editing skills; videography a plus.
* Excellent communication, organisation, and creative skills.
* Experience with Meta platforms and design tools (Adobe Suite, Photoshop, InDesign).
* Analytical mindset with understanding of engagement metrics.
* Confident working collaboratively in a dynamic school environment.
* Blue Card (or ability to obtain) and support for the College's Anglican ethos.
* Qualification in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or Media desirable.
* Experience in education or community‑based settings advantageous.
