About the role
Peabody are currently seeking ERZ Controllers to join our Centurion underground mine. Our Centurion mine is located 160 kilometres west of Mackay. There are multiple roles available in Outbye, Development and Longwall (on track to launch early 2026). For more information on Centurion visit centurionmine.com.au.
Key responsibilities
* Performing statutory and compliance inspections in line with legislation and Centurion SHMS.
* Ensuring teams operate production processes and equipment safely.
* Delivering maintenance schedules in accordance with statutory and site regulations.
* Facilitating crew / shift communication sessions.
* Achieving and driving agreed production targets safely.
The lifestyle
This role is a permanent opportunity and is offered as a 7:7 day/night roster with FIFO and DIDO options. Flights will be included for the candidate to fly from Brisbane into Moranbah. Relocation assistance will also be offered to the right candidate.

* A strong safety and risk management focus
* Be an effective communicator and team player
* 3rd Class Managers Certificate of Competency or Deputy's Certificate of Competency
* Competent in Supervisory skills
* S1, S2, S3 and risk management and investigation
* Commitment to high performance standards
In addition to the above, you will have a genuine commitment to safety and demonstrate a sound understanding of risk and hazard identification. You will be an exceptional team member with a flexible attitude and sound work ethic.
