Adecco Group have an exciting opportunity available as Assistant Retail Manager for a large shopping centre in Melbourne's North.
This large and bustling shopping centre has a strong community focus, huge food and dining precincts and a wide array of international fashion brands, homewares and major stores.
This opportunity is working alongside an experienced and supportive team.
Key responsibilities:
· Assist in the preparation of budgets and business plans for the asset
· Assist in the implementation of the retailer engagement strategy
· Critical retailer management including debtors
· Relationship and operational management of retailers
· Assessing the performance of retailers and identifying opportunities to improve sales levels
· Maintaining positive relations with retailers, customers, suppliers, local government and other important stakeholders
· Ensure efficient collection of monthly retailer sales figures and coordinate the preparation of monthly sales reports
· Meet with retailers on a regular basis to discuss marketing requirements for their business
Ideal candidate:
· Experience in a environment ie. Shopping centre or Retailer
· Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
· Excellent relationship management skills
· Strong negotiation skills
· Initiative, professionalism & persistence
