Full-time | Rewarding opportunity in the Youth Services Sector

About ITEC Group

ITEC Group is a purpose-driven organisation supporting people across Youth, Employment, Aged Care, and Disability Services.

With a workforce of 400+ across QLD, NT, SA, and NSW, we're proud to lead with heart, purpose, and action.

At our core are our 'We CARE' values:

We Care | We Appreciate | We Are Reliable | We Empower

If you live these values and want to make a lasting impact, we'd love to meet you.

Why You'll Love This Role

As a Program Coordinator with ITEC Youth, you won't just manage a program — you'll change lives. This role is vital in delivering safe, consistent, and empowering care for young people in the statutory child protection system. You'll shape meaningful experiences, lead your team with purpose, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to help young people thrive.

This is a Cairns-based role with a regular overnight visit to Townsville every two weeks. Travel expenses are covered.

What You'll Be Doing

This is a fast-paced, varied role that requires compassion, initiative, and organisation. You'll be responsible for:

Coordinating daily individual support plans tailored to each young person

Developing care plans in collaboration with young people, their teams, and stakeholders

Maintaining case management responsibilities and actively engaging in Child Safety discussions

Coordinating appointments, education access, health consultations, and activity scheduling

Ensuring incident reporting and shift documentation is accurate, timely, and complete

Promoting engagement, emotional safety, and household stability for young people

Managing site-level needs, including groceries, supplies, and program consistency

Upholding the privacy and confidentiality of all workers and young people

About You

You're a strong communicator, a calm presence, and a solutions-focused professional with a heart for young people.

You'll thrive if you have:

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

Strong knowledge of basic financial processes (accounts payable/receivable)

Confidence using Microsoft Office, Excel, and email systems

The ability to build trust and engagement with diverse stakeholders

Strong time management, initiative, and accountability

A team spirit — with the ability to lead and work independently

A willingness to grow with ongoing training and professional development

What You'll Need (Mandatory)

Current Australian Driver Licence

Valid Working with Children Check (Blue Card)

Ability to complete LCS2 Child Safety Suitability Clearance
