Job Overview:
We are currently looking for a skilled Pet Groomer to join our team of professionals dedicated to providing exceptional pet care services. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in professional dog grooming and possess excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver top-notch pet grooming services including bathing, drying, nail clipping, brushing, combing, and breed-specific clipping.
* Provide exceptional customer service and create memorable experiences for all clients and their pets.
* Coordinate the pet grooming salon and manage client bookings in collaboration with the Store Manager.
* Assist the store shop floor team as needed and maintain stock levels to meet sales targets.
* Support local marketing opportunities and recruitment referral programs to drive business growth.
Requirements:
* Prior experience in professional dog grooming is mandatory.
* A qualification in grooming is preferred but not essential.
* Strong knowledge of specific breed clips and ability to maintain advanced understanding of zoonotic and skin diseases.
* Excellent physical fitness level as you may be required to lift heavy animals.
* Demonstrated ability to handle and work with live animals effectively.
* Ability to prioritize tasks and manage conflicting priorities efficiently.
* Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales targets consistently.
