Our hospitality business is seeking a skilled and experienced Chef de Partie to join their team at Oaks Port Douglas Resort. This dynamic role involves overseeing daily kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene are consistently maintained.
* Assist in preparing and cooking meals to the highest standard following recipes and maintaining consistency.
* Collaborate with fellow kitchen team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
* Take pride in plating and presenting beautifully crafted dishes, ensuring they meet brand standards.
Key Qualifications:
* A Certificate III in Cookery qualification or equivalent.
* Previous experience in a similar role within a hotel or restaurant environment.
* Strong knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* A positive, proactive attitude and genuine passion for cooking.
