We're seeking a dynamic and experienced Site Manager ACT to lead operational performance across our ACT facilities.
Reporting to the Regional Manager Yass & ACT, you will oversee a team, ensuring safe, efficient and high-quality site operations.
The Role
This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for driving efficiency, optimising daily site activities, and ensuring cost objectives are consistently achieved.
You'll play a key part in enhancing workforce productivity, streamlining processes, and supporting the organisation's growth through operational excellence.
What you'll do
* Lead daily operations across ACT facilities with a focus on safety, quality, and productivity
* Manage and mentor operational staff to build a high-performing team
* Oversee site workflows to maximise efficiency and minimise downtime
* Collaborate with internal teams to manage scheduling, projects and service delivery
* Drive a culture of continuous improvement and preventative maintenance
* Promote SOILCO's vision for sustainability and operational excellence
Required Skills
* Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field (or significant operational management experience in waste management).
* Extensive experience in resource recovery, organics recycling, or waste management operations.
* Proven leadership experience in managing site operations and process optimization.
* Demonstrated ability to improve workflows and enhance productivity.
* Demonstrated stakeholder management skills with the ability to develop relationships with team members, clients, and contractors to ensure excellence in delivery.
