About the role

ARRCSare actively sourcing a skilled People and Culture Lead – Central Australia and APYto join their team on a permanent, full-time basis. This role attracts an annual salary between $120,000 PA gross.

Based in Alice Springs, this busy and rewarding role will see you taking management ARRCS day to day operational HR queries and projects. This will include however, not limited to learning and development, performance development, disciplinary activities, coaching and building manager capability.

You will provide these services across our facilities and home care operations within Central Australia and APY Lands, which includes Alice Springs, Tennant Creek, Mutitjulu and Docker River. This role will also see you support and manage our People and Culture Officer.

As the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a strong in generalist HR management. You will be comfortable and experienced in providing advice and course of action in key areas including IR queries, performance management, discipline and coaching. You will have prior experience working in HRIS with preference to Kronos and enjoy supporting Executive with data collection and quarterly reporting. You will be knowledgeable of Fair Work act and have previous experience in reviewing and interpreting Enterprise Agreements to management and staff. In addition, you will be an approachable professional who is able to follow process and respond to queries in a timely manner. You will be a proactive staff member who enjoys mentoring and coaching others.

Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business or similar discipline are essential and experience within the health or not for profit industries are preferred.

In addition, this role will require relocation and residence in Alice Springs, Northern Territory.

Skills & experience

* A successful and proven record as an HR leader in a not for profit, health and / or community services related environment.
* Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to work with a broad range of people from a variety of backgrounds and experiences.
* Demonstrated experience with HR systems and processes, particularly payroll.
* Demonstrated experience being a caring and approachable person who thrives on supporting people to achieve their best.
* Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
* Strong communication skills and working across diverse group settings.
* Sound knowledge with Award Interpretation and extensive experience with Industrial Relations matters.
* Comfortable working with and around the elderly.
