Nurse Unit Manager - Coronary / Critical Care | Full Time
Are you an experienced NUM with postgraduate qualifications in Coronary / Critical Care? Hobart Private Hospital is seeking a post-graduate qualified Nurse Unit Manager to lead our Coronary Care / High Dependency ward.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and direction to the ward to align with the hospital's strategic direction, operational processes, budget and business direction.
- Coordinate the delivery of nursing care that is evidence-based and ensure efficient and effective management of the area.
- Accountable for the effective management of human, financial and material resources and maintaining optimal customer service levels.
- Lead a 25-bed Critical Care Unit (CCU) for acute cardiac, medical and high dependency surgical care and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
About You / Qualifications
- Specialised nursing experience in cardiology/critical care
- Post Graduate Certificate or working towards in cardiology/critical care
- Previous NUM experience or equivalent
- Current Registration with AHPRA and Working with Vulnerable People check
- Commitment to Quality Patient Care
- Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
- Sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills
