InterContinental Adelaide is looking for an Assistant Night Manager to be the key point of contact overnight, ensuring guests experience the warmth, care and professionalism that defines the InterContinental brand - no matter the hour. 
Located in Adelaide, Australia, this role works closely with the Night Manager and the wider Front Office team to manage overnight operations, acting as the senior leader on duty and handling critical incidents or guest concerns. 
You will set high standards across guest service and safety, provide accurate reporting, and support a smooth handover to the day team. 
Your shift will start at 11:00 pm and finish at 7:30 am. 
Your night to night responsibilities 
- Leading overnight hotel operations, ensuring safety, security, and exceptional guest service 
- Responding promptly and professionally to guest feedback, complaints and emergencies 
- Acting as the first point of contact in critical situations and confidently handling overnight incidents 
- Managing the Night Audit process and ensuring accurate financial reporting 
- Maintaining strong communication with all departments to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction 
- Providing support and leadership to overnight colleagues across departments 
- Upholding IHG's 'One Team' culture and helping create a welcoming, inclusive overnight work environment 
What we need from you 
- Experience: Ideally 2+ years of front office or guest service leadership, preferably in a luxury or premium hotel environment 
- Leadership and Problem Solving: You're calm under pressure, decisive, and confident in handling overnight challenges 
- Guest-focused: You're committed to making every guest's experience memorable - even at 2am 
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills; you're approachable, empathetic, and skilled 
- Tech Savvy: Comfortable with hotel systems - Opera PMS experience a plus 
- Flexibility: Able to work night shifts, weekends, public holidays and overnights as required 
- Full working rights in Australia
