AWX are seeking hands-on Production Operators and Forklift Drivers to join our client in Carbrook, a leading supplier of dried sands, gravels, and packaged building products used across construction and infrastructure projects.
This is physical, yard-based work in a busy manufacturing environment - well-suited to those who enjoy being on their feet, operating machinery, and contributing directly to the production of high-quality materials.
The Roles
Production Operator | Afternoon Shift | $38.39 p/hr
* Operate bagging machines and production equipment
* Manual handling and physical labour in a heavy manufacturing environment
* Experience operating production line machinery
* Forklift ticket & experience required
* Shift: MonThu 12pm10pm, Fri 12pm6pm, optional Sat 6am12pm
Forklift Driver | Day Shift | $35 p/hr
* Operate forklifts for stock movement and truck loading/unloading
* Yard-based work supporting warehouse and production needs
* Follow WHS and Chain of Responsibility (COR) requirements
* Shift: MonFri 7am4pm, with overtime and Saturday shifts available
The Candidate What you need
* Holds a current forklift licence with proven yard/production experience
* Reliable, safety-focused, and comfortable with physical work
* Able to complete paperwork and basic computer tasks
* Fit for manual handling and extended time on your feet
* Team player who can also work independently
* As part of onboarding, you will complete respirator fit-testing and must be able to wear a respirator throughout shifts
