Casual Home Care Support Worker - Qualified

Casual positions available with the prospect for permanent part time hours

Are you an qualified Home Care Worker looking for the benefits of a public health service and flexible work arrangements? Join our highly experienced, supportive and collaborative Home Care Team at REDHS! Our Home Care Team is in a period of growth, progression and expansion and it’s an exciting time to be a part of an organisation who make a difference to the lives of our community members.

Home Care Support Workers perform a range of duties including Personal Care, Domestic Assistance, Shopping Assistance, Meal Preparation, Respite Care and Transport. Flexible working arrangements will be considered.

The successful applicants will:

- Have experience in the community home care sector

- Have excellent communication skills to work effectively with colleagues, consumers and their representatives

- Have the ability to read and interpret consumer Support Plans

- Have the flexibility work day, evening, weekends and occasional split shifts.

You will be required to have:

- Certificate III in Home and Community Services, Aged Care, Disability, Individual Support or equivalent

- Current Driver's License

- Current Police Check, Working With Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check

About REDHS

Rochester and Elmore District Health Service (REDHS) is situated in Rochester which is the gateway to the mighty Murray River region and close to the regional centres of Echuca, Bendigo and Shepparton.

We are an integrated rural health service, providing a broad range of acute, residential aged care, preventative and primary health programs to a population of approximately 8,600 people in the Campaspe and Bendigo Shires.

We enjoy a strong relationship with our community and we are focused on delivering services that meet their needs.

Following the flood in October 2022, we commenced an extensive rebuild of our facility which was completed in January 2025.
