We are seeking a Credit Risk Officer to join our team in North Ryde on a permanent basis as part of the Boral Shared Services team. In this critical role you will support Boral's Customer Onboarding processes with a primary focus on the assessment of credit applications from both new and existing customers. You will work directly with customers and sales teams to manage customer accounts and build strong relationships.
Responsibilities
* Management of the New Account application process; reviewing and analysing applications, assessing external credit reports, customer data and relevant documentation.
* Collaborating across Credit and Sales teams to build relationships that ensure best practices and service delivery is achieved.
* Managing customer risk profiles in accordance with our Credit Policy; assessing of Credit limits.
* Delivering exceptional customer service to our customers including meeting SLAs on new account assessment and establishment.
* Contributing to building a team culture that encourages continuous improvement, collaboration, and achievement of team goals.
Qualifications
* Client service professional, with previous experience working with customers in a complex and diversified organization.
* Strong analytical, problem solving and decision‐making skills with an eye for detail.
* Delivering exceptional customer service.
* Prioritising workloads to meet deadlines and competing priorities.
* Strong communication skills with customers and within a team environment.
* Solid ERP system skills in Oracle, SAP or equivalent.
* Ideally customer credit risk profiling and familiarity with credit assessment policies governing credit risk.
