About the Role We are currently seeking a qualified Electrician to support the ongoing operations and maintenance of Wandoan Solar Farm, a large-scale solar energy facility in Queensland. Working as part of an experienced on-site team, you will be responsible for conducting electrical maintenance, supporting HV and MV operations, and assisting in the coordination of subcontractors and other personnel. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical understanding of solar PV systems and experience in industrial or utility-scale electrical environments. Key Responsibilities Operations & Maintenance Conduct preventative and corrective electrical maintenance activities Assist inspection checklists and maintenance documentation Monitor SCADA systems for faults, alarms, and events Analyze performance data to identify optimization opportunities and minimize downtime Assist with the preparation of reports, logs, and compliance documentation Participate in or oversee HV switching activities in line with training and competencies Support maintenance and inspection of MV and HV assets in accordance with site requirements Qualifications and Experience Essential Current QLD Electrical License Experience with solar PV systems or industrial electrical systems Strong understanding of electrical safety, compliance, and maintenance best practices Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, plans, and technical documentation Familiarity with SCADA monitoring and basic fault diagnostics What We Offer Long-term opportunity in a growing renewable energy operation Supportive team environment with opportunities for ongoing development Competitive salary with overtime rates 2 weeks on 2 weeks off roster All accommodation and food provided FIFO from Brisbane How to Apply To express your interest in this role, please click Apply Now or forward your resume and a brief cover letter to Danielj@prprojects.com.au
