This role is focused on identifying, developing, and winning new business opportunities by leveraging panel contracts, vendor partnerships, industry insights, and bespoke ICT solutions.You will play a key role in executing a go-to-market plan for a defined portfolio of new and existing public sector customers, driving Optus’ presence in critical areas including core Telco services, Cyber Security, Customer Experience, and Modern Workplace transformation.The successful candidate will have strong experience in public sector sales and be comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders across some of Queensland’s largest government agencies. By aligning customer needs with Optus’ extensive product and service catalogue, you’ll build compelling solutions that deliver long-term value and drive measurable growth.The Day to DayDevelop and execute a strategic growth plan for a defined group of State Government agencies.Drive new business acquisition and increase Optus’ market share within the public sector.Establish and maintain strong relationships with senior government executives and decision-makers.Lead conversations around core Telco services, Cyber Security, Modern Workplace and Customer Experience.Build bespoke ICT solutions by integrating offerings across the Optus product and services portfolio.Leverage panel agreements and vendor partnerships to create competitive, customer-centric solutions.Collaborate with internal Pre-Sales, Sales Specialists, and Delivery teams to ensure alignment and execution.Contribute to the team’s overall acquisition targets and growth strategy.Track and report on sales pipeline, opportunities, and customer engagement activities.Drive measurable outcomes through Net Adds and new business orders.About YouYou’re a commercially-minded professional with a strong understanding of the public sector landscape and ICT solutions.
