Job Description
Why You'll Love This Role
As Head Pool Lifeguard, you'll lead a team of lifeguards across our aquatic facilities, ensuring the highest standards of safety, supervision, and customer service. You'll play a key role in training, rostering, and incident response, making a real impact on community wellbeing.
What You'll Be Doing
* Lead and supervise lifeguard teams
* Manage rosters, timesheets, and task lists
* Coordinate lifeguard training and meetings
* Monitor pool safety and respond to incidents
* Maintain cleanliness of pools and surrounds
* Prepare facilities for events and hirers
* Record and report hazards and incidents
* Ensure compliance with City policies

Qualifications
What You'll Bring
We're looking for a proactive leader with strong aquatic safety expertise. You'll ideally bring:
* Current Pool Lifeguard Licence
* First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011 or higher)
* Experience in aquatic facility lifeguarding
* Supervisory experience in recreation centres
* Strong knowledge of rescue and safety protocols
* Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
* Ability to work flexible shifts and weekends
* National Police Clearance (under 3 months)
