Trades Assistant (Marine)
to join our fully geared Defence Maintenance Contract team based at
Ross Island, Townsville QLD
.
The
Trades Assistant (Marine)
is responsible for the assistance of maintenance activities on a vast range of exciting Defence vehicles and assets.

* Work 38 hours per week Monday to Friday and finish at 12 pm on Fridays

About The Role
* Helping trades personnel with all types of work in the workshop
* Assisting in maintenance and storeroom tasks
* Maintaining the work area in a neat and orderly manner
* Operating plant and equipment where qualified and licenced to do so
About You
* Hold a current Driver's License (C class, manual, open)
* Have a great attitude, a good work ethic and complete tasks with minimal supervision
* Tyre fitting experience (desirable)
* High Risk Work license with competencies in Forklift (desirable)
* Computer Literacy using Microsoft office products (especially Excel)
* You must be an Australian Citizen and able to maintain a Defence Security Clearance
