Description
Our IT Support Engineer in Amazon's Operations teams take care of the various IT systems at the heart of our operational sites.
As an IT Support Engineer, you'll work at a logistics site alongside colleagues, remote support teams, and the business to offer a crucial IT support function. Our team approaches work with a mindset that no job is too small and no challenge too big

Flexibility is essential for this role as the site operates across 7 days, including day and night shifts.
Key job responsibilities
* Provide first-level technical support for the operations of the Fulfillment Center, covering various technical disciplines across multiple buildings.
* Allocate and maintain IT equipment, manage multiple customer requests simultaneously.
* Troubleshoot IT-related equipment, such as PCs, wireless handheld devices, thin clients, printers, and other end-user devices.
* Manage the Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) and repair process for devices under warranty.
* Learn new technologies and participate in career development within the IT network.
Basic Qualifications
* 1+ years of experience supporting Windows, Mac, or Linux operating systems in a corporate setting.
* Experience troubleshooting integrated and interdependent computer systems.
* Experience maintaining zebra thermal printers, troubleshooting thin clients, PCs, scanners, and portable handheld terminals.
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Understanding of networking concepts such as DNS, DHCP, Email, HTTP, SSL, OSI Model, and TCP/IP protocols and applications.
* Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, days, and nights.
* Ability to lift 50 lbs / 22 kgs and stand/walk for 10-12 hours.
Preferred Qualifications
* Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Cisco/CCNA, Linux (Redhat), Microsoft hardware, AWS, or other relevant certifications.
* Experience in a dynamic environment with a focus on customer service.
* Ability to explain complex IT concepts simply.
* Experience managing high-priority projects.
