Job description
- We are now recruiting for passionate, calm, kind, and empathetic female support workers with experience assisting participants with complex behaviours of concern for two young female siblings.
- 1:1 trained and skilled DSWs daily, weekends, overnight, school holidays and 1:1 respite opportunities.
- Ample and ongoing support and training provided by the participants Behaviour Support Practitioner to provide you clear guidelines to follow when it comes to the participants’ behaviours of concern.
- Additional internal training will be provided, but experience is favourable.
Your Duties may Include (but not limited to)
- Assisting the client one on one in-home.
- Assisting client with their daily routines including personal hygiene.
- Implementation of strategies included in clients Behaviour Support Plan.
- To enable respite from siblings who have high support needs
- To access the community and participate in activities that are meaningful, person-centred and individualised, in a way that meets client's disability support needs
- To continue to enable access to valued roles both locally and interstate (eg. Cheer competitions)
- To continue to build quality of life options without the impact of sibling needs being prioritised, activities delayed or cancelled or run late for school or activities.

About You:
- We require all our support workers to be reliable, committed, and empathetic individuals to provide quality care
- Experience supporting young neurodivergent participants favourable.
- NDIS Worker Screening check required
- Working with Children Check
- First Aid: HLTAID011
- CPR: HLTAID009
- NDIS orientation and induction modules
- Infection Control
- PPE Training
- Australian Driving license
- Comprehensive vehicle insurance
- Right to work in Australia
- Reliable car
- Able to commence work as soon as possible
Job Type: Casual, Part-Time hours.
- Pay: $35.00 – $40.00 per hour
Expected hours:
Client one
- 7-9/9:30am and 3-5pm Mon-Fri
- 4 hours Saturday
- 4 hours Sun
Client two:
- 6:30/7-9/9:30am and 3-6pm Mon-Fri
- 5 hours Sat
- 5 hours Sun
