We’re looking for a hands-on person to help our maintenance team with farm equipment and machinery maintenance. You’ll assist with repairs, servicing, fabrication and general workshop duties over our two orchard locations. This is a great opportunity to learn on the job and grow your skills within our supportive maintenance team.
Key Responsibilities:
As a valued member of the team and reporting to Maintenance Manager, you will:
* Help maintain and repair farm equipment and machinery
* Support tradespeople with welding, fabrication, and mechanical work
* Assist in setting up and installing new machines or tools
* Keep the workshop tidy, clean, and safe
* Follow safety rules and report any problem
* Work as part of a team and help where needed
Requirements
To be successful for this position, you will have:
* Willingness to learn and work hard
* A current driver’s licence
* Forklift, loader, or other machinery tickets (preferred but not essential)
* Previous experience on a farm or workshop is helpful but not required
* Good attitude, attention to detail, and able to follow instructions
* Safety-focused and respectful team player
