Forensic Intervention Services provides evidence-based screening, assessment and intervention services for individuals in custody and the community. We focus on areas such as violent and sexual offending, restorative justice, violent extremism and family violence.

As an Intake Officer, you will manage the intake and referral process for eligible people across Victoria. You will maintain and update records to contribute to ongoing service and quality assurance processes, and respond to enquiries, respecting the department's guidelines. The role also works closely with staff and stakeholders to support smooth service delivery.

What you will do

As an Intake Officer, you will support the effective operation of statewide intake and referral process. The role works within the Intake team and with clinical staff to ensure the effective service delivery of offence-specific assessment and treatment to eligible people in Victoria.

You will:

* Process referrals for both prisons and Community Correctional Services (CCS) in accordance with clearly defined guidelines
* Maintain and update records within the Corrections Victoria Intervention Management System (CVIMS) and other Corrections Victoria information management systems
* Monitor and action enquiries by either appropriately redirecting or resolving in accordance with business processes
