General Practitioner (FRACGP) – Veteran-Focused Care
Contract / Flexible Engagement | $200 – $240 per hour | Deakin, ACT
We are seeking experienced General Practitioners who are looking to practise in a more considered, patient-centred model — one that prioritises clinical quality, continuity of care, and meaningful patient relationships over high-volume consults.
About the Organisation
This is a specialist, purpose-driven medical service focused on supporting current and former members of the Australian Defence Force as they transition into civilian life.
Many veterans experience challenges accessing consistent, well-coordinated primary care, particularly care that recognises the long-term physical and psychological impacts of military service. This service has been designed to address that need — delivering comprehensive general practice care alongside support with DVA-related health requirements, transition assessments, and complex care coordination.
Clinicians work within a model that is trauma-informed, culturally aware, and centred around long-term patient relationships.
