About the Employer: Our practice is managed under the leadership of Dr Sharif, founder/principal of the clinic. He oversees clinical operations and ensures that all GPs and staff at The Good Shepherd Medical Centre share a common mission: delivering high‑quality, compassionate and patient‑centred care using up‑to‑date medical standards and technology.
The centre offers a well‑equipped clinical environment — including onsite pathology, pharmacy, nursing support, allied health services — enabling practitioners to provide comprehensive general practice, minor procedures, preventive and travel medicine, women's and children's health, chronic disease management, and wellness services.

About the Role
The Good Shepherd Medical Centre is seeking a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner to join our experienced healthcare team. We offer comprehensive, patient‑centred medical services and are looking for a GP who values high‑quality care in a supportive clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Taking patient history, performing physical examinations, diagnosing conditions, conducting investigations, and accurately documenting medical information.
* Ordering laboratory tests, imaging, and other diagnostic procedures, and interpreting the findings to support accurate diagnosis.
* Providing comprehensive patient care, prescribing and administering treatments, medications, and other therapeutic measures.
* Monitoring patient progress and evaluating their response to treatment.
* Offering guidance on diet, exercise, lifestyle, and other preventive health measures to support wellness and disease prevention.
* Referring patients to specialist practitioners or hospitals when appropriate, and exchanging medical information with external providers.
* Collaborating with nurses, allied health professionals, and other clinical staff to ensure coordinated patient care.
* Providing childhood and adult immunisations, including travel vaccinations.
* Diagnosing and treating acute infectious diseases and reporting notifiable conditions to government health authorities.
* Performing minor procedures including management of uncomplicated fractures, intra‑articular injections, cryotherapy, Pap smears, and ECG interpretation.
Requirements
* Current medical degree and full registration to practice as a GP in Australia.
* Strong clinical skills and commitment to evidence‑based practice.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Dedication to delivering compassionate, patient‑focused care.
