Coulson Aviation Australia is a subsidiary of a global aerial firefighting company. The organization provides aircraft and experienced team members to Australian States and Emergency Service Organisations.
The company operates globally with a fleet of large aerial firefighting assets, consisting of fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft. Our fleet includes Boeing 737 FIRELINERS, C-130 Hercules fire bombers, Citations, CH47D Chinooks, UH60 Blackhawks, Sikorsky, and Bell 412 helicopters.
This leadership position ensures continuous regulatory compliance with CASR Part 42 regulations, the CASR Part 42 MOS, and the Coulson Exposition for two CJ560 Citation jets.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain and continuously improve airworthiness standards to support aviation safety by ensuring compliance with CASR Part 42 regulations and the CASR Part 42 MOS.
* Regularly monitor aircraft maintenance outputs to ensure continued compliance with relevant regulations and objectives, such as AD compliance, reliability program, and defects.
* Implement corrective and preventative actions to address irregularities in accordance with the CAMO Exposition.
* Manage the performance of the CAMO to ensure compliance with relevant CASA regulations and orders.
* Provide leadership and direction to employees, including recruitment, onboarding, training, coaching, performance management, and career development, ensuring high employee engagement and achievement of compliance goals.
The successful candidate will have at least 3 years' experience in Continuing Airworthiness Management of aircraft, along with knowledge of aircraft maintenance management organisation functional and practical knowledge, and a comprehensive understanding of relevant regulations and standards applicable to airworthiness of aircraft authorised to operate under the AOC.
