Job Title: Perioperative Instrumentation Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our dynamic perioperative team as a Perioperative Instrumentation Specialist.
About The Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced CSSD technician to utilise their expertise in thermal disinfection inspection, packaging and sterilising of instrumentation for theatre and other clinical areas.
Key Responsibilities:
* Thermal disinfection inspection, packaging and sterilisation of instrumentation for theatre and other clinical areas
* Ensure compliance with AS/NZ 5369:2023, GENCA, and operating, interpreting and documenting machinery operational requirements
Essential Criteria:
1. 2 years' experience as a CSSD technician (desirable)
2. S sound knowledge of AS/NZ 4187 2014
3. Demonstrated knowledge of instrumentation and tracking systems
4. Endoscopy reprocessing experience or willingness to learn
5. Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
6. Intermediate computer literacy skills - including MS office and various data bases and interest in promoting best practice patient care
