Your new role:
Join our on-site Maintenance team in a permanent position, working a 7/7 day/night roster. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for coordinating safe, efficient, and cost-effective maintenance operations.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading by example to ensure maintenance activities are completed safely and effectively
* Coordinating maintenance and repairs in line with safety, time, and budget requirements
* Completing accurate maintenance documentation, reporting, and daily activity records
* Building and maintaining strong working relationships and high-performing teams
* Driving continuous improvement initiatives and implementing practical solutions
* Promoting and maintaining a strong, positive safety culture across the team
What you'll need to succeed:
* Trade qualification in Diesel Fitting or equivalent
* Previous experience as a Maintenance Supervisor on a mine site
* Proven track record of maintaining strong safety performance within teams
* Current Mining Supervisor – G1, G8, G9 (formerly S1, S2, S3)
* Current Carry out the Risk Management Process – G2 (RIIRIS402D)
* Current Queensland Coal Board Medical (or willingness to obtain)
* Current Standard 11 (or willingness to obtain)
* Current Queensland Driver Licence
