Job Summary
The Mechanical Engineering Manager will oversee the repair and maintenance of mechanical assets, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
* Coordinate repairs to minimize production delays.
* Provide clear instructions to engineers on overhaul tasks.
* Supervise mechanical tasks as required.
* Manage contractors and personnel performing mechanical work.
* Own the mechanical aspects of the Maintenance Management system.
* Provide instruction to direct reports on quality, quantity, resources, and time management.
* Ensure compliance with Queensland Coal Mining Safety & Health Act and Regulations.
* Develop a capital maintenance plan in conjunction with Projects and Maintenance Engineers for major refurbishments, replacements, and upgrades of mechanical assets.
