About the role
We are looking for skilled Coded Welders, Boilermakers & Mechanical Fitters to join our team in Perth WA. We offer full-time, casual & shutdown basis employment to suit everyone's needs. This role offers local and FIFO work with the option of picking up ongoing work to the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
Minimise machinery downtime, conduct preventative maintenance and maximise efficiency of industry plants and machinery to ensure ongoing productivity
Read and interpret drawings and specifications to determine job requirements
Inspect and monitor plant equipment as required
Provide direction to Trades Assistants in the performance of their duties
Material, labour, plant and equipment is used as effectively and efficiently as possible;
Ensure that all tools and equipment are clean and well maintained;
Operate vehicles, plant and equipment and tools in a proper manner;
Undertake all other reasonable tasks and duties that are peripheral to your role and within your skill and ability, as directed.
Work with a productive and highly successful team.
Produce components to the highest quality.
Multitask within multi machine environment.
Set up and use fabrication tools and equipment, including welding machines, grinders, and carbon rod gauging tools.
Label, sort, and organise plate materials into product groups.
Mark out, cut, drill, or punch holes in plate materials as per fabrication drawings.
Layout, align, and assemble components in line with drawings and tolerances.
Transfer fabricated components between departments to meet production schedules.
Skills and Experience
Hold a Working at heights and working in confined spaces ticket
Previous experience in manufacturing or mining sectors
Ability to work unsupervised;
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical;
