About Seed Foundation Australia:

Seed Foundation Australia provides wraparound support for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students, including students from rural and remote communities, providing pathways into higher education and employment.

Seed Employment is a Group Training Organisation who specialises in providing Apprenticeship and Traineeship opportunities to people looking to launch their career in a range of industries including the Health and Community Services industries. Seed Employment operates within Seed Foundation as a Social Enterprise. All profits from Seed Employment go back into funding the work Seed Foundation Australia delivers.

Through our network we are able to provide a complete wraparound training, employment and support model for our trainees, apprentices and host employers.

Due to exciting growth within the Foundation and Social Enterprise, Seed Foundation Australia (Seed) is seeking an experienced and operationally focused Regional Manager to manager the delivery of Seed and Seed Employments portfolio of Education and Employment Services.

About the role:

Reporting to the General Manger - Corporate, this leadership position will oversee program delivery across nine service delivery regions, covering metropolitan, regional and remote locations from Central Qld to the Gold Coast. You'll thrive on leading regional teams, managing service delivery frameworks, community engagement and embedding continuous improvement and innovation to drive real outcomes, growth and impact for our beneficiaries.

You will work closely with the Senior Management Team, Administration Team, Pathways Support Officers and key partners to oversee the South Queensland region including education and employment program operations, administration & reporting, HR, community engagement, and regional growth, while supporting a high-performing, culturally safe, and collaborative workplace.

Please note, this role has scope to work remotely, or hybrid from our Sunshine Coast office, regular travel throughout South Queensland is required in this role.

Key responsibilities associated with the role include:

* Manage the regional team delivery of Seed and Seed Employment Clients and Pastoral Support Services, including team members providing support to Australian Apprentices, employers, students and any other relevant stakeholders.
* Monitor, coach and manage the regional team's compliance with operational and organisational policies, procedures and legislative requirements.
* Review the performance of the regional team and implement improvements to procedures and training where necessary.
* Monitor, coach and manage regional team to ensure data integrity and accuracy of various databases, reporting requirements and ensure the team completes this in a timely manner in line with guidelines.
* Develop new business opportunities, leads and partnerships with like-minded community groups and organisations and assist the General Manger - Commercial and GTO Operations Manager to convert these to sales.
* Conducting market research within the regions to identify new business opportunities and contacts and meet with businesses, employment services providers, industry and host employer organisations and other potential clients to secure business that aligns with the business.

What you will need to succeed:

Above all, you are passionate about the difference that education and employment pathways can make on individuals and communities. In addition to this, you are a results-driven and people-centred community minded individual with a strong track record in leading teams and trusted relationships across community, corporate, commercial, and government sectors.

In addition to this, you have experience in:

* Proven experience in regional operational leadership roles.
* Extensive service coordination and operational management experience in the community, employment and or education services sector - including oversight of multidisciplinary teams, sites, and diverse activities.
* Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders, including government agencies, non-profits, service users, and the broader community.
* Skilled at representing organisational interests in high-level meetings, sector forums, and partnership development.
* Proven strategic leadership abilities with a track record of managing complex, multi-faceted services and inspiring teams to achieve excellence.
* Knowledge and understanding of cultural and other issues relevant to Australia's First Peoples, or, ability to develop an understanding.
* Knowledge of employment programmes and group training, vocational education, and training systems.
