* Ongoing Full Time working over a 5-day roster

As the
Facility & Grounds Officer
, you will play a key role in ensuring the safe, efficient and uninterrupted operation of the health unit's facilities and grounds. You will be responsible for undertaking general facility and grounds maintenance, supporting the functionality of plant and equipment, assisting contractors, and contributing to fire safety and emergency preparedness activities. This is a hands-on role that supports the health service by maintaining safe, functional and compliant environments.

Key Responsibilities:

* Undertake general facility and grounds maintenance, including minor carpentry, painting, plumbing, mechanical and grounds works.
* Maintain site and building plans, records and documentation to meet accreditation and compliance requirements.
* Support the continuous functionality of plant and equipment and assist tradespeople and contractors as required.
* Contribute to fire safety programs, evacuation procedures and emergency drills in line with organisational schedules.

* Are you able to prioritise workloads, meet deadlines and work effectively with minimal supervision?
* Do you have the ability to supervise and direct other staff members when required?
