Maintenance Technician Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified professional to utilize their technical expertise in a dynamic environment.
About the Job
* This role involves ensuring that all equipment and machinery used in the process are well-maintained, calibrated, and running efficiently.
* The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and correcting equipment problems, calibrating and aligning equipment, completing preventative maintenance activities, checking sizing of components and parts, specifying, requisitioning, and installing parts and equipment.
* The Maintenance Technician will also coordinate maintenance spare parts with the MRO coordinator, assist in planning, prioritizing, and scheduling maintenance through Gatekeeper and Activity Coordinator and operations input.
* In addition, this role requires setting up and calibrating, testing, measuring, and repairing all types of controls and instruments with pneumatic, electrical, and electronic variables, as well as repairing, maintaining, and installing equipment and machinery used in the process.
* The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, be able to work independently, and possess strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Key Responsibilities
The key responsibilities of this role include:
* Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all equipment and machinery used in the process are well-maintained, calibrated, and running efficiently.
* Problem-Solving: Diagnose and correct equipment problems, calibrate and align equipment, complete preventative maintenance activities, check sizing of components and parts, specify, requisition, and install parts and equipment.
* Maintenance Coordination: Coordinate maintenance spare parts with the MRO coordinator, assist in planning, prioritizing, and scheduling maintenance through Gatekeeper and Activity Coordinator and operations input.
* Instrumentation and Control: Set up and calibrate, test, measure, and repair all types of controls and instruments with pneumatic, electrical, and electronic variables.
* Equipment Repair and Installation: Repair, maintain, and install equipment and machinery used in the process.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
* A degree in a relevant field (e.g., mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, etc.) or equivalent experience.
* At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
* Strong knowledge of equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair techniques.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
* Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
