We are seeking an experienced and reliable Storeperson to join a busy warehouse team based in Townsville. This is a casual role with the potential to go permanent for the right candidate.
Role details
- Location : Mount St John, Townsville QLD 4818
- Pay rate: $38.43/hr + penalties
- Roster: Monday – Friday (occasional Saturdays)
- Hours: 6:30am – 3:00pm
- Type : Casual with potential temp-to-perm chance
What you’ll be doing
- Operate RF scanning systems to pick, pack, and prepare orders accurately
- Unload delivery vehicles, inspect goods, and check for damages or discrepancies
- Safely stock shelves and store goods in designated areas
- Assist with regular stocktakes and inventory checks
- Maintain accurate records of stock movements
- Pack and dispatch orders promptly
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks (if licensed)
What we’re looking for
- Previous experience in a warehouse/storeperson role
- Ability to meet KPIs for picking accuracy and productivity
- Driver’s licence – mandatory
- Forklift licence – advantageous
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well within a team
