Overview
Part-time 0.6 FTE available for a Specialist Psychiatrist at Mildura Base Public Hospital, located on the iconic Murray River, servicing a population of approximately 70,000 across 25,000 square kilometres. The position offers flexibility for either full-time or part-time work and is scheduled to commence in late July ****.
Key Responsibilities
Participate in the acute and general care medicine on-call roster.
Review medical patients presenting to the emergency department, inpatient care, and outpatient clinics.
Collaborate with general medicine colleagues and other staff specialists on patient care.
Participate in departmental meetings and reviews as required.
Provide leadership and teaching for doctors in training and medical students.
