Overview
Door Maintenance Technician to join the Doors Team in Newcastle, NSW. You will manage the equipment and servicing of KONE Automatic Doors, Roller Shutters and Gates across low-rise housing through to the world’s tallest skyscrapers.
Responsibilities
Attend breakdowns on Automatic Doors, Roller Shutters and Gates
Install Automatic Door shopfronts
Attend to maintenance activities and repairs
Carry out all activities in accordance with KONE policies and procedures including health, quality and safety standards
Maintain customer relationships in the local region
After hours callout service
Qualifications
Automatic door, roller shutter or gates industry experience preferred but not essential
Exposure to breakdowns is highly advantageous
Electronic / mechanical mindset
Commitment to working safely with a strong focus on quality
Availability to work away
A customer service mindset
EWP / Working at heights licence preferred but not essential
Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
A Full Drivers Licence
Flexibility in participation in a rotational on-call roster
