Katherine West Health Board (KWHB) is currently recruiting a Travel and Logistics Officer.
The Travel and Logistics Officer plays a key role in supporting the delivery of health services across our remote communities. The role is responsible for planning, booking and coordinating travel and accommodation for staff and contractors, as well as managing the logistics required to ensure people and equipment are in the right place at the right time. Working closely with the Executive Manager Corporate Services, you will manage multiple priorities, maintain accurate records, and respond to changing schedules in a fast-paced environment. This role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively within a culturally respectful, community-focused organisation.
Established in 1998, Katherine West Health Board is an Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation that provides a range of clinical, preventative and public health services to clients in the Katherine West Region of the Northern Territory. With four major health care centres and a range of satellite centres, KWHB services an area over two times the size of Tasmania (162,000km²), helping to improve the health and wellbeing of some of the most remote communities in Australia.

As the Travel and Logistics Officer, you will coordinate and manage travel and accommodation for staff and contractors, ensuring bookings are cost-effective and aligned with organisational policies. You will oversee the logistics and delivery of equipment and supplies to remote health service locations, maintain accurate travel schedules and records, and communicate closely with internal and external stakeholders. You will also respond to travel disruptions or urgent changes, provide administrative support across the organisation as required, and ensure all travel and logistics activities meet policy, legal, and regulatory requirements.
