An exciting opportunity is available for a Psychiatrist to join the Mental Health Service at the Hospital within the region Hospital and Health Service. The area is one of the most beautiful regions of Queensland, stretching from Agnes Water in the North to Maryborough in the South, providing acute care services to a population of over 200,000 residents including several rural communities. They are seeking a Consultant in Adult Psychiatry to join the team. You will provide both inpatient and community-based services and have extensive teaching and research responsibilities. Responsibilities
Demonstrated ability to make a comprehensive psychiatric assessment and provide treatment for patients with serious mental illness and mental health problems. Ability to provide medical leadership in a multidisciplinary team. Demonstrated knowledge and skills in teaching, evaluation and research. Excellent clinical variety. Qualifications
Registration as a medical practitioner and specialist psychiatrist (FRANZCP) with the Medical Board of Australia. Employment details
