Within International Wealth and Premier Banking (IWPB), we serve 41 million customers globally, including 6.7 million who are international, from retail customers to ultra high net worth individuals and their families. In this role, you will provide comprehensive administrative support to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of daily activities. This includes diary management, co‐ordinating meetings, and supporting the IWPB Business Risk Leadership team with tasks such as travel booking, expense reports and where required creating agenda for overseas travel. You will need exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to anticipate needs, while always maintaining confidentiality and discretion, strong initiative and sound judgement with ability to work independently, excellent interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with a broad range of individuals and groups.
Your main responsibilities will include:
* Organising schedules, maintaining diaries, arranging travel and accommodation
* Co‐ordinating activities, events, resources, meetings, services and managing internal and external stakeholders
* Supporting administration, minute taking, composing presentations, drafting reports and assisting with key documents
* Deliver flexible, ad hoc management and administrative activities to the broader FCCS leadership team on an ad hoc basis
* Ability to strictly adhere to HSBC policies and maintain confidentiality on sensitive activities in the remit area
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Relevant experience in organising and planning
* Proven record in providing support at a senior level
* High level of initiative, accuracy, professionalism, and confidentiality
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to build strong working relationships and collaborate effectively, work under pressure with a can‐do attitude
* Ability to recognise when escalation is required to senior members of the Team
Preference will be given to candidates who hold Australian PR/Citizenship or New Zealand Citizenship, or who can demonstrate current unrestricted work rights in Australia without limitations.
