The Research Officer will conduct biomedical research and provide research support to the Reproductive Immunology research group.
The Reproductive Immunology research group in the School of Bioscience conducts world-leading research on the topic of the immune response in fertility and pregnancy, and its significance in reproductive and pregnancy disorders, using clinical tissues and mouse models. The Research Officer will conduct experimental work as well as provide research operations and administrative support in the Reproductive Immunology laboratory, to facilitate and progress research and translational outcomes.

To be successful you will need:
1. Experience in the conduct of biomedical research in immunology, cell biology and/or reproductive physiology, to a high level of quality, rigour and dependability.
2. Understanding of the ethical issues and experience in the practical management of animal research and in the conduct of experiments in small animal models.
3. Excellent organisational and time management skills, including the ability to organize, catalogue and manage laboratory records and materials, working independently as appropriate.
4. High level written and verbal communication skills, including records and report writing, and presentations to a professional audience.
5. Excellent interpersonal skills to work collegially as part of a team and with a wide range of stakeholder groups.
