Job Role
This is a full-time position for an Assistant Client Manager, based in Mackay. In this role, you'll work closely with senior managers and be part of a supportive team.
Main Responsibilities
* Manage a portfolio of clients, assisting them with their tax and business advisory needs.
* Hold client meetings to deliver tax strategies, software guidance, and business mentoring.
* Provide tailored tax planning and structuring advice.
* Apply technical knowledge to prepare and review financial statements, tax returns, and other related documents.
* Collaborate with the technical support team to generate high-quality work.
About You
* You should hold a Bachelor of Accounting degree or equivalent.
* Have 3+ years of industry experience in accounting/taxation, with at least 1+ year in a client-facing account management role.
* Have a strong technical foundation in taxation and accounting, with the ability to translate complex rules into practical outcomes for clients.
* Understand key areas such as non-commercial loss rules, CGT small business concessions, depreciation rules, trust minutes, franking accounts, and dividends.
* Be confident using cloud-based accounting software and practice management systems.
* Have excellent communication skills and a genuine love for helping clients.
