Randwick City Council is an innovative and progressive local government organisation committed to serving our vibrant community on the eastern beaches of Sydney.
We are currently seeking enthusiastic candidates who are currently studying, or willing to undertake trade related studies, to join the busy Building Trades team as a full-time Apprentice Painter.
The successful candidate will be trained by a team of qualified tradespeople whilst undertaking relevant vocational studies.
Council provides pre-approved time to attend TAFE and will reimburse fees based on satisfactory attendance and performance at both work and TAFE.
Furthermore, a commitment to workplace safety and customer service is fundamental.

Undertaking or willingness to undertake vocational learning in a relevant trade area
Demonstrated ability to work in a flexible manner and as a part of a team
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
Demonstrated experience in dealing with members of the public
Be self-motivated and show initiative in the delegate areas of responsibility
A willingness to comply with all Council's policies and procedures
It is desirable but not essential to have a class C or MR driver's licence, be familiar with the City of Randwick and hold a current First Aid Certificate.
