About the Role
We're on the hunt for a dynamic and flexible Trainer to deliver the Get Set for Work program to young people aged This isn't your average classroom gig - you'll be guiding students through a 14-week journey of discovery, skill-building, and confidence-boosting.
You'll deliver the Certificate II in Skills for Work and Vocational Pathways, plus RSA, Food Handling, and Business modules - all through hands-on learning, group projects, excursions, and real-world role plays. Think retail/hospitality roleplays, aspiration mirrors, and community adventures
What You'll Be Doing
* Facilitating engaging, flexible, and inclusive training sessions
* Supporting students with diverse learning needs and backgrounds
* Creating a safe, empowering space for youth to thrive
* Collaborating with a Student Support Facilitator and Business Manager
* Planning, marking, and admin around class times
* Occasionally heading out on excursions and community-based learning
What You'll Need
* TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or higher)
* TAESS00026 Foundation Skills Integration Skill Set (or willingness to pay for and obtain within first 4 months of contract)
* Experience working with youth, especially those disengaged from school
* A flair for activity-based learning and creative delivery styles
* Strong interpersonal skills and resilience
* Current Working with Children Check, Police Check, and Right to Work in Australia
