Reporting to the SHEQ Manager, you'll play a crucial role in driving our recycling initiatives, enhancing supplier performance, and fostering a culture of safety and environmental awareness. Your efforts will support efficient and sustainable operations, ensuring compliance and developing innovative processes.We are looking for a passionate Environment Specialist who will:Monitor Budgets and Plans: Keep an eye on budgets, operational plans, and financial forecasts, ensuring all environmental data reconciliations meet our high standards.Manage Recycling Stock: Set up SKUs, forecast demand, and place orders to keep our recycling consumables well-stocked.Enhance Collection Networks: Improve our collection networks and transportation routes to enhance its efficiency and minimise our carbon footprint.Coordinate Logistics: Work closely with internal teams and suppliers, focusing on coffee capsule recycling supply chain, meeting SLA time frames, and implementing tracking systems for transparency.Report on Metrics: Develop and deliver comprehensive reports on key recycling metrics and KPIs, ensuring they are timely and accurate.Drive Carbon Reduction: Coordinate carbon reduction plans, track progress, and identify areas for improvement.Minimise Waste: Lead efforts to minimise overall waste generation and eliminate single-use plastics, fostering a culture of sustainability.Lead Audits: Conduct audits, implement corrective actions, and support SHEQ audits to promote safety and environmental responsibility.Analyse Data: Analyse data, identify trends, investigate root causes, and propose recommendations, while creating reports and presentations for stakeholders.We're looking for an enthusiastic data focused Environment Specialist with a degree in Environmental Science or Engineering, and 3-5 years of experience in supply chain or logistics (waste management is an advantage).
