Risen Energy Australia is seeking 2–3 experienced Local Sales Managers to drive revenue across our solar component and energy storage business units. This "dual-track" role requires a high-performing individual to manage existing distributor relationships while aggressively capturing market share from top-tier competitors.
Available Territories
* Team A: NSW and QLD.
* Team B: VIC and SA (with future expansion into WA).
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Execution & Market Share Acquisition
* Component Sales: Drive the shipment of Topcon 635 and HJT 730 modules to achieve a collective 200MW annual target.
* Competitor Conquest: Focus on capturing market share from Trina Solar and JA Solar customers within the retail and distribution segments.
* Storage Integration: In H2, pivot to promoting household and C&I energy storage solutions to existing and new channels.
2. Channel & Relationship Management
* Distributor Management: Support core existing partners (e.g., OSW, AZL, Energy Spurt) while cultivating new high-margin distributors targeting a \u003c 10% margin.
* Downstream Extension: Steadily build connections with the downstream installers and retail customers of existing distributors.
* Avoidance Strategy: Purposely avoid low-profit, high-competition large power station tenders to focus on high-margin retail and C&I opportunities.
3. Performance & Pricing Strategy
* Dynamic Pricing: Implement the Group's weekly/monthly cost updates, applying the required Australia-specific markups and buffers (10% for components; 15%–20% for storage).
Targets & Compensation
Annual Sales Targets (National Pool)
* Household Storage: 200MWh.
* C&I Storage: 100MWh.
Incentive Model
* Component Commission: 5%–10% based on gross profit.
* Household Storage Commission: 10%–20% based on gross profit.
* C&I Storage Commission: 3%–10% based on gross profit.
* Channel Rebates: 1%–3% for high-performing household/C&I channels.
Requirements
* Experience: Proven track record in solar component or battery storage sales within the Australian market.
* Regional Expertise: Deep understanding of the renewable energy landscape in NSW/QLD or VIC/SA/WA.
* Technical Literacy: Ability to collaborate with technical teams to deliver C&I storage solutions to end-customers (SMEs, farms, factories).
* No need for visa sponsorship.
* 3+ years of work experience with Sales Strategy.
