What you can expect in a day in this role:
At Country Club Tasmania, we believe in curating exceptional experiences for our guests, this could be a community lunch, an intimate corporate brunch or a large-scale concert rocking evening away. With the Conference and events team, you will have the opportunity to be part of a professional and experienced team that is dedicated to ensuring every detail contributes to the success of our diverse range of events.
Some of your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
* Serve food and beverages, undertaking preparation duties and maintaining cleanliness after service.
* Ensure stock levels are maintained as directed by supervisors.
* Work together as a close-knit team to provide a seamless experience for our event guests.
* Prioritise a safe working environment, upholding our \"safety first\" business culture.
* Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory requirements, and our business policies.
* Ability work across the business in different food and beverage outlets when events are not booked
What you will bring to the role:
A passion for customer service is a must, along with a great attitude and flexible work style. We also look for:
* Availability to work across a range of shifts, including day and night events that may be rostered on weekdays as well as weekends and public holidays.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
* Positive attitude, adaptability, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
* Previous experience in a food and beverage role is advantageous.
* Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) accreditation, or the ability to obtain.
