**THE OPPORTUNITY**
An excellent opportunity to commence your career as an Quality Controller / Stock Checker as part of the Cold Store Distribution team, the role focuses on order picking accuracy and packing of our customers' orders leaving the cold store, conducting cycle counts of stock in the cold store, ideally suited for those with an acute eye for details, understanding of numbers and stock counts and ability to cross reference con notes and manifest transport paper work and warehouse storage documents. This role will provide you with career progression opportunity to further establish yourself in the warehousing and logistics industry.
There are two positions available, one commencing on the AM shift and the other on the PM shift.
**WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL**
The successful applicant will have strong attention to detail, the right attitude, outstanding communication skills, have excellent work ethic, organised and can work with mínimal supervision.
- Ability to work in Cold Store environment. +4 to -18 temperature range
- Attention to detail in checking outgoing customer order accuracy and quality requirements
- Capable of quick data entry, monitoring work to ensure quality and verifying information for accuracy and relevance
- Provide daily reports to management on picking accuracy and any dispatch issues
- Use of pallet jack to move stock
- Pick and wrap orders from paper picking slip when required.
- Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the warehouse working environment.
- Work effectively in a team and autonomously.
- Proven previous work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
