Role Summary
We are seeking a Personal Care Worker to provide client-focused care in the Kalgoorlie and Wheatbelt regions of Western Australia.
Job Description:
As a Personal Care Worker, you will play a crucial role in assisting clients with daily living activities and ensuring their comfort in their own homes. Your duties will include providing personal care, assisting with daily activities, and working closely with Registered Nurses to deliver client-specific care.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide holistic, client-focused care in line with each client's tailored care plan.
* Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, toileting, nutrition, mobility, and more.
* Identify client care needs and work collaboratively with the client's care team to ensure high-quality, holistic care.
* Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and team members.
* Maintain accurate daily client notes and promptly report any concerns to the RN/Care Manager.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Cert III in Aged Care/Disability (or equivalent).
* Current Senior First Aid [HLTAID011], CPR [HLTAID009] and Manual Handling [HLTWHS005] (with 3+ months until expiry).
* A roadworthy and insured vehicle with a current driver's licence.
* Federal Police Clearance (within the last 6 months).
