Enterprise Booking System and Point of Sales Solution
Our local government client is seeking a Solution Architect to lead the design and implementation of a number of key technical uplift initiatives, predominantly; Enterprise Booking System (venue and events bookings) and Point of Sales (POS) solution.
Key Responsibilities
Design end-to-end architecture for enterprise booking system and POS system, including front-end, back-end, and integration layers
Define system components, data flows, and integration points with CRM, ERP, IAM, and payment platforms
Translate business goals and consumer needs into end-to-end solution designs that are scalable, secure, and aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
Define architectural blueprints, interface specifications, integration patterns, and data flows.
Develop comprehensive current and future state architecture documentation
Ensure all solution designs are aligned to architecture and security standards
Key Skills
Proven experience as a Solution Architect in enterprise software preferably with some booking / reservation systems and POS systems experience
Strong knowledge of cloud-based architecture (AWS, Azure or GCP), APIs, microservices, DevOps practices, and modern web / mobile technologies.
Excellent problem-solving skills, a proactive approach and ability to thrive in a fast-paced and changing environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
