API Integration Support Specialist

DFP Recruitment is seeking an experienced API Integration Support Specialist to join our Government Client team. We are seeking an experienced API Support & Integration Specialist to support and maintain enterprise integration platforms within a fast‐paced, agile environment.
Role responsibilities
* Liaise with and support Digital Partners to register, onboard, and subscribe to APIs.
* Maintain, configure, and support APIs and applications using MuleSoft and IBM API Connect.
* Perform API and environment testing as required to support system stability and change initiatives.
* Monitor, analyse, and report on end‐to‐end API health, performance, and usage metrics.
* Troubleshoot MuleSoft and IBM API Connect issues, working collaboratively with external vendors to resolve incidents.
* Partner closely with Level 3 technical and development teams to investigate and resolve complex issues.
* Manage confidential and sensitive information in accordance with organisational and regulatory requirements.
* Apply ITIL best‐practice methodologies for incident management and service requests.
* Work collaboratively within cross‐functional teams (e.g., Business Analysts, Test Analysts, MuleSoft Developers), contributing to the prioritisation and tracking of system improvements through monthly sprints.
* Participate in daily stand‐ups to review progress, system enhancements, and issues with developers and third‐party vendors.
Skills
* 2–3 years' experience working with APIs and/or integration technologies.
* Demonstrated experience supporting systems in high‐pressure, operational environments.
* Proven experience working within Agile/Scrum delivery frameworks.
* Experience working in DevOps environments, including configuring and supporting CI/CD pipelines.
* Strong understanding of API and integration technologies, with the ability to quickly learn new platforms in complex, mission‐critical environments.
* Hands‐on experience administering and configuring MuleSoft and/or IBM API Connect.
* Exposure to CRM systems.
